Weight Loss Series: What To Do When You Hit A Weight Loss Plateau

You have been on losing weight but you have now hit a weight loss plateau. What should you do? I share with you in this video below, what to do!

What I have done in this weight loss series is that I am using me as the guinea pig.

I have now been on this weight loss journey for 8 weeks. The reason I am sharing this with you as I want to document it and show you what is working, what is not working, the process the body goes through and yes even what happens when we hit a plateau.

In this weight loss series today, I am going to talk to you about weight loss plateaus because I believe I have hit one.

Please note I did take measurements with tape measure so that I had a starting point to show you what is happening with my body. The measurements taken were, neck, chest, arms, waist, hips, upper thighs, and calf muscles.

I started recording this on 1st May 2017, even though I changed my eating regime 2 weeks prior to tracking. I will tell you I wish I had started tracking the first day, but I wasn’t game enough to see what the results of the measurements were.

Anyhow, I started tracking on the 1st May 2017 and I had total measurements of 576cm. My weight was 74kg. The recording of the above video I have showed that my total measurements are now 553.5cm and I weigh between 69kg and 70kg, depending on what day I weigh myself. This video above was recorded on 20th June 2017. But the exciting thing is that I have lost between 4 to 5 kilos.

If you have seen the previous video I shared with you my total measurements were 553.1cm. So I am sure there is a bit of margin for error in there but 2 weeks on into where we are now, there is no change in the body measurements, which have lead me to believe I have it a weight loss plateau.

However in saying that I have reached a plateau… plateaus are all part of the process. There is not going to be a steady of growth of improvement and it goes on forever. At some point there will be a time where the improvement or in this case weight loss will slow down… this is where the frustration will come in, again it is all part of the process, so you don’t let this get you down.

Up until this point you are feeling that you are doing every right and you have seen results but now there has been no change.

The question is what is the next step?

It’s important to continue to do what you are doing. All the actions that you have done have led you to get these results and you have to allow the compound effect to take over. It’s all the little actions that you have been doing on a daily basis which have led you to get the results you now have.

You can tweak things a little such as increase your training regime and do more high intensity workouts etc.

However for the purposes of what I am doing, I am going to continue down the same path and keep what I have been doing to this point and then report back to you in 2 weeks to report on any changes.

Weight Loss Series: How To Lose 10cm Off Your Thighs in Less Than 6 Weeks

It’s really frustrating when you feel that you’re putting on weight is not absolutely it doesn’t matter to you what your weight is compared to someone else it’s about what you think of your weight.

Now if you’re finding that you’re putting on some extra kilos you don’t like you’re feeling uncomfortable in your body then we can do something about it.

I’m going to share with you my experience. Also if you are putting on weight and you’re carrying a lot of weight this is also going to work for you as well…  because what I’m about to show you is some results of what’s actually been going on with me.

I’m giving you a progress report on actually what’s going on so that you actually seeing the numbers.

Look at carrying those extra kilos and its really frustrating to do that. Actually if you look down and you see your body and your are saying to yourself “yes I’m putting on weight I’m carrying extra weight and I really don’t like it. I feel really uncomfortable in my skin”.

That’s how I was feeling and I don’t know if you’ve heard my story before but when I was playing professional tennis and I was teaching tennis and golf because I was so active I was eating a lot. But because in the last four to five years I’ve actually changed what I’ve been doing I’ve started to build businesses online so I’m sitting down a lot more. I’m not as physically active.

I’m still training and so on but I’m not as physically active in the teaching side of things as I used to be.

But the thing was I still eating a lot of food, big plates of healthy food. And I was still putting on weight, I could see it and feel it.

Yet, I thought it was my age being over 40, I am 46 when I have recorded the video above. I thought because I was getting older and the body was responding the same way it used to.

How wrong I was at that thought!

It was the fact that I ate big meals (of healthy food).

So now I don’t eat over 250 calories per meal and depending on how I am feel on the day I could eat 6 meals no more than 250 calories per meal or 4 meals no more than 250 calories per meal. This I do 5 days per week, I do 1 day for a cleanse (fasting day) and the remaining day I eat whatever I like.

Now what I want to share with you is that I have been tracking my measurements so I can see how my body is responding… but also the importance of why you should be tracking your measurements, so that you know how your body is responding.

When I started tracking the measurements on the 1st May 2017, my body measurements were a total of 576.5cm (not 567cm as I said in the video).

I have just taken measurements on the 6th June 2017 and I was 553.1cm which is a loss of 23.4cm in the body and has taken just over 5 weeks to do so.

Even though I have lost centimetres off various parts of my body measured, the noticeable difference is my upper thighs. I have lost 10cm off both thighs (5cm off each thigh).

It is interesting to not where the body fat is coming off the body.

So can you do this too?

Of course you can!

You just need to get your head around it. And you want a METHOD that is going to get you results.

The first step you need to do is to make a DECISION that you are going to do it. This is most important because if you don’t decide that is what you are going to do, you just won’t do it.

Go back and review what I am doing to get these results and then copy it. This is why I have produced this for you for that reason. Weightloss Series: The Perfect Way To Lose Weight.

Then the second step you need to do is TRACK YOUR MEASUREMENTS.

You have got to put you first and look after you. Then you can look after everyone else around you.

You will be more alert, you will feel great within, you will have more energy… there is so much more than you can do when you feel fantastic.

Plan this out to do it for 30 days/31 days… you won’t notice a difference after doing it for a day, you will notice slight changes after a week, but you will notice your body responding and changing after 30 days.

But don’t just do it for 30 days… 30 days is the starting point, not the finish point.

Is There A Perfect Way To Lose Weight?

What is the perfect way for you to lose weight and kick that diet good-bye and yeah… actually get results and feel like things are working?

The reason that I have put this weight loss series together and go through the process myself, is because rather than just someone telling you what to do, you get to see what is actually going on… and you are not alone.

It has been an interesting time… you may have already seen the previous videos but if not here they are here;

My body just wasn’t responding the way it used to when I was younger. And as you will see in these videos above it wasn’t the hormones or me getting older, it was the amount of food I was eating (even though it was healthy food)!

So moving forward… what have I been doing to get the results and weight loss or should I say reduction in body fat occurring?

I share here with you below.

I was aware that to lose weight you shouldn’t eat more than 1500 calories. (That is for a woman, for a man it is 1800 calories). This is what the information is saying online… so my thoughts were ok! Let’s test it! I will use me as the test!

Now it was to figure out which is the best way to eat 1500 calories throughout the day without starving?

What I could see there were 3 options.

Option 1:

  • 3 meals at 500 calories per day (no snacks)

Option 2:

  • 3 meals at 400 calories each per day plus 3 100 calorie snacks

Option 3:

  • 6 meals at 250 calories each per day

Option 1 was not appealing as I could only have 3 meals and no snacks… I would have felt like I was depriving myself, I couldn’t eat any snacks throughout the day. This option was not going to work.

Option 2 again was not appealing either as I was limited in the amount of calorie snack options and again I didn’t want to feel like I was depriving myself from eating, nor feeling as though I have to fill up again waiting around for the next time I was going to eat. It feels like an obsession then. Not a good feeling.

Option 3 appealed to me as even though the meals were smaller than the meals I was brought up on and have been conditioned myself to eat over the years, I found this option more appealing as I could eat more frequently and I wouldn’t feel as though I was missing out.

So Option 3 was the decision!

The next step was to look at the food I was going to be eating (no more than 250 calories) per meal. I didn’t want to have that feeling I was going to be starving for food. So I wanted to ensure I would feel content (not full) but not feeling like I needed to have more food either.

This is basically what I do on a daily basis;

7am Breakfast: Half Protein Shake

10am: 2 eggs with tin of chicken (omlette)

1.30pm: 1 tin of chicken with beans & broccoli

4pm: Protein snacks, apple, rasberries, blueberries, strawberries, 6 almonds etc.

6pm Dinner: 1 tin of chicken with beans, broccoli & sweet potato.

7pm Dessert: Half Protein Shake

I do that 5 days per week. I schedule it in what days I do that.

I have 1 day where I do a cleanse day (fasting) and 1 day that I eat whatever I like.

The most important point here I want to make to you is that if you truly want weight loss. Make the decision to do it. Once you make the decision and make a few behavourial changes it actually is much easier to do.

But it is up to you to make that decision.

Plan this out to do it for 30 days… you won’t notice a difference after doing it for a day, you will notice slight changes after a week, but you will notice your body responding and changing after 30 days.

But don’t just do it for 30 days… 30 days is the starting point, not the finish point.

Weight Loss Series: Are You Aware Of How To Lose Weight?

Are you really aware of what you are eating?

You know that thing you say, you are what you eat!

I am going to take you on my journey, and share with you what I was eating that was putting on the weight, even though 80% of the food was really healthy.

I was really frustrated with putting on weight, I was watching it happen over time. I was actually feeling depressed about it and I thought it was just me being over 40 that was holding me back from dropping some weight.

Yes it was me that was holding me back because it was the decisions I was making .

What I am going to show you are the foods I was eating (refer to video) before I decided to make a change and then leading into a conversation with my Chiropractor and we talked about what was actually going on by the food I was consuming.

A few years ago I was carrying extra weight and I decided to make the first change. I started to eat a lot more vegetables (than I had been)… but not much protein. I ate a lot of sweet potato, green peas, beans and broccoli plus quite a bit of tofu, as I had gone off meat, just lost the taste for it… and I ate a lot of nuts (almonds).  I didn’t eat eggs etc.

I was tossing up whether to go vegan or vegetarian, I wasn’t really sure which path I was going to head down but both were the better option at the time when I started down this path.

Also I was listening to a podcast (as I listen to many), and in that podcast show the interviewee was talking about if you took protein 20 minutes within the first 20 minutes of waking up that would help kick start the fat burning process and increase metabolism.

Now I was already having a protein shake for breakfast so added to the food regime was then half a protein shake prior within the 20 minutes of awakening.

So the daily routine was this;

  • Half protein shake within 20 minutes of awakening.
  • Full Protein shake after training at gym
  • Snacks – big handfuls of nuts, , grapes, apples, bananas, smoothies with cherries & blueberries, museli with honey and/or peanut butter
  • For Lunch & Dinner – big bowls of vegetables, with nuts or tofu

Of course I did get some results, and trimmed down a bit. I ended up losing around 15 to 20 cms off body in that time. Which was over the course of about 3 to 4 months. The process seemed slow, but I was ok with that as I was tracking measures and lost a few kilos. Therefore I was seeing some results.

I do love food. I love to eat food, who doesn’t? However I am a guts, I do like to eat a lot of food. So by making a few changes as above I could justify it because I felt I could still eat a lot of food. I have always been active for most of my life, as I played pro tennis, had tennis coaching business, kids sports skills business and golf coaching business… but not as active over the last 4 years. Simply because I was working on building my business online. However, I still ate the same amount of volume of food as that is what I had always done. However the last 4 years I had not been as active.

Sure too, I did have a few lollies and chocolates here and there (not over the top either)… but I was still putting on the weight.

So when it came time to actually looking at what I ate… the reality was I was eating too much food and I also identified I wasn’t burning enough energy ( I share this more on another video).

What you want to do here is to analyze the type of food you are eating and how much food you are eating… because at the end of the day it is going to be the amount of calories that you are going to put in your body versus the amount of calories that you are burning.

It is as simple as that!

It sounds obvious wouldn’t you agree?

This is a suggestion on your first step;

  1. Analyze the amount of food you are eating.
  2. How many calories are you consuming.
  3. How many calories you are burning throughout the day.

How To Lose Weight – Overcome The Frustration

 

 Are you frustrated that no matter what you are doing you are just not losing weight?
It just won’t come off and you like me over 40 and you just don’t know what to do?  I go to the gym I eat all the right
food… I don’t even drink alcohol some people do but I don’t even drink alcohol… yet, I’m still carrying extra weight and it doesn’t seem to be coming off!
What I do I do? That’s what we are going to talk about today.
Being over 40 it’s not great is it… because what starts to happen is our bodies start to change so this date that I’ve actually recorded this video I’m 46 years old. I decided that it was time to do something because I was really
frustrated with and I have been frustrated with my weight for a number of years now. I’ve noticed a lot of changes happen since I’ve turned 40… just all of a sudden that big 40 comes around and the body doesn’t seem to respond the way it did a teenager, in my 20’s and 30’s. The body just doesn’t seem to respond the same way.
I also consider myself an athlete right so I played professional tennis in my late teens, early 20’s. I taught tennis, I ran a sports skills program for kids… I also teach golf and I learned to play golf  in my 30’s and I teach golf and I’ve been really really frustrated with weight because it doesn’t matter what I’m doing it just doesn’t seem to come off.
A few weeks ago I spoke with my chiro about is as I was so frustrated I just don’t know what I’m doing wrong because I’m doing everything right and I’m not losing weight I’m actually putting weight on and I don’t know why?
What we did was to analyze what I was actually eating you know what I was so simple. Things like I had peas in my vegetable routine… I was eating too many nuts… I wasn’t eating enough meat protein as I’ve gone off red meat so I
wasn’t really over keen on eating meat.
So I have made a couple of adjustments… this is just the beginning of the journey and this is why I wanted to record this video was to share my experience with you and bring you on the journey with me.
If you are struggling with weight loss I can show you some things that I’ve done to make some changes and will help you get the results that want.
Basically how I’ve got started… I’m actually four weeks into it now I actually wanted to record this video four weeks ago but I wasn’t happy with how I was looking to be honest. I wasn’t over overweight I was just putting on weight and it was really frustrating for me because coming from the background where I see myself as an athlete…
yet I was still struggling with weight and I just couldn’t understand why because I’ve always trained all my life and my body just wasn’t responding.
I was asking the question like well “is it because I’m over 40 and my hormones are changing?”
You know “I don’t know,  I don’t know what’s going on my body just won’t respond!”
I’ve actually made only slight changes but it’s made a big difference already. I weighed myself four weeks before I started this I was 74 kilos. I was quite upset about that because I’ve never been 74 kilos in my life!
Even in my past my 20’s or early 30’s where I thought that I was carrying a bit too much weight I’ve never been this
heavy.  I said “how is this possible that I’m 74 kilos?”
My confusion was I trained at the gym and we all understand that muscles heavier than fat… I was really confused and really frustrated by that so I didn’t record anything in the beginning of this journey.
So you’re seeing me as I am now but I’m not where I want to be yet so I’m going to bring you on the weight loss journey with me and show you what I’ve been doing.
We are going to take some guesswork out for you. In the video above I also share with you the measurements I took about 2 weeks prior to recording this video, simply because weighing on the scales doesn’t tell the whole story. It is just an overall result. It’s good to measure yourself as it is important to see there are some changes happening, even if you can’t see it with the naked eye… you will see it with the measurements and you will feel it with your body.
So make sure you watch the video above to know what to measure.
I wanted to share with you that yes I understand that you’re frustrated if you’re carrying extra weight and you want to lose weight and you’re over forty or the body’s just not responding.  It’s just making some tweaks to what you’re actually doing.
To start just have a look and analyze what you are actually eating. Plus record the amount of calories you are eating throughout the day. It may just be a lack of awareness.
The hardest thing is actually to be honest with yourself because I found that really hard actually I’m admitting that
it’s me as it’s my fault I’m 100% responsible for what I put in my mouth. I discovered I was a guts as simple as that! I enjoy food I was eating a lot of food. I was treating my body like it was when I was training to be a professional tennis
player and training to be a professional golfer. I wasn’t expending the amount of energy that I was consuming… it’s different when you’re when you’re training all the time as an athlete.

5 Books Every Entrepreneur And Athlete Must Read – Part 1

I am a big reader… I love to read and learn new methods, new strategies to implement into my life and business.

You may have been like me I was never much of a reader. I really didn’t like school much at all. I found it a waste of time… and to be honest I don’t know how I got through year 12 and even University. But I made it through.

I must have done enough to get by and get through it. My 9 year old niece talks about what she is learning at school now and I have absolutely no recollection of learning what she is learning at school.

All I wanted to do was to go and play tennis. I only wanted to play sport and nothing else. I went to school because I had to!

But Now!

I love to read. I love to expand my knowledge and mindset. I love to learn new strategies, new standards I can apply that will continue to help me grow and expand.

“Maximum Achievement” by Brian Tracey.

The big takeaway I got from this book was how to turn your life into a masterpiece.

It is not a book you just read, it has practical exercises that you must do and apply to your life because it will set you on a path of planning out your future.

The 2nd Book Every Entrepreneur And Athlete Must Read is…

“The Talent Code” by Daniel Coyle.

What I love about this book is the section it talks about Deep Practice.

Coming from an athletic background it really resonates with me. But if you are an entrepreneur you can still benefit from reading this book. It will also apply to you.

I will tell you that it does apply to entrepreneurs and athletes if you want to be great, exceptional and outstanding. Of course this is you as you wouldn’t be here if this was not the case.

My favourite part in Deep Practice are the 3 Rules of Deep Practice.

THE 3 RULES OF DEEP PRACTICE

Rule 1 :Chunk It Up

This is breaking it down into small chunks, small easy pieces.

Rule 2 :Repeat It

Just like what Tony Robbins says “repetition is the mother of all skill.”

Rule 3 :Learn To Feel It

This is connecting with those skills that you are learning. It is learning to feel it. It’s a mind body connection.

It was funny to see this written as this strategy I have naturally been teaching for years without ever being aware of it.

Through teaching golf over the years and tennis, i have always focused on each component of the shot, and slowly piecing each shot together, having the client repeat it over and over and then learning to connect with it. In golf I have had them many times hit with their eyes closed so that we can create the connection feeling.

The 3rd Book Every Entrepreneur And Athlete Must Read is…

The Compound Effect by Darren Hardy.

The biggest impact that this book had on me was the section about habits.

My definition of habits are small actions that you do, if you put them together create your future and your destiny.

Now if you have bad habits, then it will be an accumulation of those habits compounded over time that will give you the result. If it was eating junk food, processed food etc. eaten over a period of time, then what would be the end result be? Yes an overweight body and it feels as though it all of a sudden just happened. But it’s been an accumulation of those bad foods for your body over time that has created that.

The same you could apply to weight loss. Eating healthy nutritious foods over time, exercising each day (habits) will then contribute to weight loss over time. It’s the same, it is an accumulation of eating good foods for your body habits over time that will give you the fitter and healthier body.

That is the Compound Effect.

Tony Robbins talks about making decisions, it is the decisions that you are constantly making at every moment that shapes your destiny. it’s the accumulation of decisions and habits that will give you the results.

Frustrated And Overwhelm – How To Deal With It!

Are you really feeling frustrated because you have the feeling that you want everything yesterday?

I get it. I understand it. We all want things to happen yesterday. We all want things to happen now!

Do you get quite worked up because you haven’t achieved what you want to achieve yet?

That’s what we are going to be talking about today.

Hi, my name is Tiffany, I am a High Performance Mind Set and Entrepreneur Coach and I love working with athletes and entrepreneurs in making sure we get our thoughts right, so we can fly to the top.

Today, we are going to be talking about feeling anxious, frustrated, not achieving what you want to achieve, feeling overwhelm and then we are going to work on how we can tackle that issue.

What happens when we are feeling frustrated or we are feeling stressed about something, it’s because we want something to happen. It could be a goal that you have set for your business, it could be a goal you have set for your sport or whatever it is and it’s not happening quickly enough.

What then happens is that you start to look at what’s not happening and what you haven’t achieved. I understand that, I’ve been there, I’ve done that, I go through that, I still go through that, it’s all a normal part of the process.

The thing is then, what happens when that feeling of overwhelm sets in.

Well, you become inactive so there is not action taking place, you get very caught up in the moment of what you haven’t achieved and that’s all that you are thinking about.

You feel like you are quite stuck, you don’t know where to start with things because you feel so overwhelmed. There is so much to do, where do I start, so the overwhelming feeling set in and you feel like you don’t know what you are supposed to do.

How do we tackle that, because if you let that continue what then happens is that you feel like you get quite down?

It’s not like you are super depressed or anything like that but you do feel depressed. You really feel down about it because you know that you are not doing what you are supposed to be doing you know that you are frustrated because you are not where you want to be yet.

There is frustration within because you are not taking action. You are letting it all consume you and you are thinking about what actually has not happened for you.

You need a strategy in a way in which we can tackle the frustration and overwhelm.

What I have for you today is something really simple. I want you to actually print up a calendar. I want you to print up the whole month of the calendar so that you have each day set and we are going to simplify it, make it easy for you.

All you need to do here, is once you have printed it up I need you to put it on your wall. We need a visual, I don’t want you to resort to your phone or flick through y our phone, we want a visual thing that you are actually going to see.

Whether you put it in your bedroom, your office or wherever it needs to be that is going to be seen every day and then what I want you to do on that calendar is to write down each day just one task that you need to do.

We want to keep it really simple. Don’t feel that you have to do five or ten things each day, let’s just work on one!

Write down that one specific task that you need to do on that day.  Write down the task that you need to do each day for the rest of the month. You can even make it more simple. Just write it for the rest of the week. You can just get started nice and easy and simply.

Then what I want you to make is a commitment to yourself that you are going to do that task. It doesn’t matter if that task is only five minutes or ten minutes.

When you put a cross though it, that means that you have actually achieved that specific task for the day. We don’t want to look at the big picture, all we want to look at are the little things that you have to do.

Now, the plan that I have for you here is that if you are doing that task and you have put that cross (X marks the spot) then the next day you do the next task that you have to do. Then put another cross. What I want you to be able to do is to see if you can have a series of crosses in those boxes and you don’t break the chain.

When you are seeing that visual of the Calendar with the x’s you will be feeling good because you feel like you are achieving something. You are not looking at what you are not achieving you are actually looking at what you have achieved.

That will make a really big difference in order for you to get over the feeling of frustration and overwhelm because now you are doing something about it.

Unfulfilled In Your Career and Life

Are you feeling unfulfilled in your career and in your life?

Usually if it’s one it will be the other as well, simply because you are not complete within, something is missing.

What spurred on this topic today was a conversation I had with a friend of mine who was reflecting on her working life at what she has achieved, yet she was feeling so unfulfilled.

She is a very successful corporate executive and has achieved much in her career yet is not happy. Why is she not happy on the inside? Because she hasn’t made an impact in the way she wants to yet. Of course she has brought up great children and has had a wonderful influence in their lives but she is not making the impact she wants to yet.

Hence her feeling unfulfilled.

Having this conversation really made me reflect.

Tony Robbins recently said at an event I attended about Robin Williams who was loved by millions, he achieved his goals… he was funny, made everyone laugh, had the best comedy show in the world, he won an academy award for a non-comedy role (dramatic role)… he had a beautiful family, yet he was unfulfilled inside.

Now when you reflect back at your life, what have you achieved?

Are you proud when you really work it out?

So when I look back at my life this is what I see.

I have been an international tennis player and golfer, I am a qualified Tennis and Golf Coach, I have a University Degree in Human Movement (Sports Science), I have had three successful businesses in Tennis, Golf & Sports Skills for kids, I have a Real Estate License and I am a High Performance Mindset & Entrepreneur Coach. That’s a good start.

But the point I want to get out here is that my awesome friend and I we are achievers. Most likely you are an achiever too, that’s why you are here today.

You don’t stop, you keep pushing. It’s not about getting to one place and just staying there. It’s about the journey, it’s the journey you travel because you are constantly growing into this amazing human being. Just don’t stop that journey, you have to keep going.

And if you are not yet fulfilled that’s ok, you are an achiever, you just keep striving as it will appear the more you look and work on you!

I am going to give you some advise here and what next to do.

This is a very simple statement and most likely you have heard it before.

ENJOY THE PROCESS – ENJOY THE JOURNEY

Yes you want to go after you goal absolutely, but it isn’t going to come any quicker if you get worked up about it.

Appreciate what you have now, you are on a path of success to what you want but what you will realize that it’s the person you are becoming that will make the difference and that will create the success that you are after.

Keep striving and keep going after you want, because that feeling of feeling unfulfilled will disappear if you keep on track.

No Time Left For You – How To Change That!

Are you finding that you have no time left for you?

You are giving a lot of energy and effort to your job but you have no time left to pursue what you want to do.

You may also be finding that because you are putting so much time, effort and energy into making a living, you are too exhausted to put any other energy elsewhere.

It does affect relationships around you. Not only the relationship that you have with yourself, but it also affects everyone else around you as well. The way you interact with your partner, your spouse, the love of your life… and other family members your children and so on.

It starts to affect your mental health… because you are constantly feeling drained of mental energy and then your health suffers, you find that you don’t eat properly. It’s like you are just in survival mode.

Not a good way to be is it?

But how do you break this cycle?

The challenge that you have is to give yourself back some time… so you can do the things that you want to do?

The most important thing that you must understand is in order for you to make a change, you will be going through a transition period, it will take a bit of effort… but by making the effort you will get some time given back to you.

This will be easier than you think.

There is a great book called The Compound Effect by Darren Hardy. What is powerful about this book is the small incremental changes that will make all the difference.

It’s not the quantity of time, it is the quality of time. It is how you utilize the time that you have.

Here’s how you can get some time back to do the things you want to pursue when you feel that you have no time left for you.

I call it “Tiff’s Ten.”

What Tiff’s Ten means is that you block off 10 minutes of time to work on what it is you want to pursue.

Only 10 minutes, how simple is that!

Remember it is the quality not the quantity that you apply.

If you think of it this way… If you gave yourself just 10 minutes, 5 days per week that is giving yourself 50 minutes towards what you want to pursue.

If you gave yourself 10 minutes, 6 days per week, that is one hour a week to pursue your goals. Which is 4 to 5 hours per month which is 60 hours per year. Now that’s a lot of time you can then give yourself that you may not have thought was possible.

But… it is possible. Remember it is the little incremental steps you do, consistently that will give you the results you are after.

So if you feel like you have no time left for you, then apply the “Tiff’s Ten” Method.

Feeling frustrated? Are you finding that you are frustrated at being at work or you are just frustrated with the situation you are in, but you don’t know how to make the change?

In today’s post you will discover in 4 steps how you can go from feeling frustrated into taking action.

So you have decided to make a change. You know and feel that it is time to make the change. You most likely don’t like the toxic environment in which you are working. People are negative in general and some are even negative towards you.

People in your work place may even feel threatened by you because you are very capable at what you do, and that makes them feel uncomfortable. Let me just say if people are not so nice to you nor behind your back (which is usually the case – they will say things behind your back rather than to your face), it is because they have a problem, not you. They are uncomfortable in their own skin because they see you are professional and very good at what you do.

Nevertheless, even though you are well accomplished, you are good at what you do, you are still feeling unfulfilled. You don’t want to do those long hours at work anymore, because you find it draining. You will most likely feel emotionally worn out because you give so much but there is never anything left inside the tank for you or even for your family.

You are probably dreading going to work each day, hitting the snooze button on the alarm a few times over, to put off facing the day. You put off getting out of bed at that last possible moment, because then you have to get up, you have to face the day… because let’s face it you are doing it because you have to.

You have to support the family or jointly support the family, you do like the money you are earning but you don’t know how to get out of it and you are incredibly unhappy. But how do you get out of it when you are earning a reasonable income and if you left how could you replace it?

“Better the devil you know”!

But let me ask you the question… how is that serving you?

Are your mental state and health suffering?

Well this is what you can do to be moving forward rather than being caught up in the situation you are in… feeling like their is no hope. There is hope and I am going to show you how.

Before I share the 4 steps with you, what you will need to do is get a notebook and schedule some time off in your diary. Give yourself 4 hours off, really take the time off to stop. We get busy doing but never take the time to stop and create, which is what you will need to do here.

Here are the 4 Steps to Stop Feeling Frustrated;

Step 1 – Write out in detail what you don’t want, actually identify what you don’t want.

Step 2 – Read what you have just written out to yourself… get clear on what you don’t want.

Step 3 – Write out in detail what you do want – write out every category in your life.

Step 4 – Write a plan out on how you are going to create what you want – set the plan.
